My courses run in steps. You can complete each class at your own pace, one after another, or take some practice time in between.
Some students take just one or two classes, while others complete them all — depending on whether you aim to work in a salon, from home around another job or simply to offer services to family and friends. If you already hold qualifications as a nail technician, I offer bespoke one-to-one training sessions to meet your needs.
You can pay for one course at a time, in instalments over the classes you attend. All products are provided during the class and included in the price; you will need items to practice at home, and I can advise before you make any purchases.
Upon completing a course and submitting the required case studies, you will receive certificates accredited by A.B.T. (Association of Beauty Therapists). A £50 deposit by PayPal or bank transfer secures your spot. Classes are held at Mount Lennox (across from the Belfast Castle) on the Antrim Road, North Belfast.

A foundation course perfect for beginners — essential theory, desk setup, product recommendations and troubleshooting, plus manicure techniques, prep work, gel polish application and removal, and how to use various gel base coats in a service.
12 hours over 3 days or 4 evenings. You work on your own nails for the first 3 classes; a model is required for the final evening.
Part 1 — an overview of a builder gel service, the options available, and applying gel on shorter nails, plus safe and effective use of an electric file to remove gel polish and prep the nail.
Part 2 — maintaining nails, repairing corners and adding length to a broken nail using a form; using an e-file to prep for maintenance, addressing client issues, and shaping medium-length nails.
Requires completion of the Step I course. Each class is 5.5 hours. No model required.
Focused on medium to longer length nails — using tips and forms to create length, shaping almond and square styles, and building the product structure required for longer nails to prevent breakage, finished with an e-file.
Interested in Acrylic and Polygel too? Contact me to arrange a session; times and prices vary with your experience. Requires completion of Step I and Step II. The class is 6 hours. No model required.
A refresher for professionals previously trained in electric filing who want to update their prep skills — from skin removal methods to dry oils, micellar water, talc, loop tools, hook scissors and acetone for dehydration, with a simplified e-file approach.
Try new products, refine your prep work and ensure your services meet today's standards. The class is 3 hours. No model required.
An advanced class for those who already hold a Builder Gel qualification — newer techniques for applying both soft and hard builder gels, repairing corners and adding length, plus troubleshooting common issues to refine your services.
Requires a prior Builder Gel qualification. The class is 3 hours. No model required.
Tailored to your specific needs. I provide all products and no model is required, as you work on your own hands. £30 per hour, minimum 3 hours. Contact me to organise a date and time.
Any student who has trained with me is welcome. Bring a model and complete a service while I guide you through any issues or techniques you wish to perfect. £15 per session — attend as many as you like.
